The world of work has changed radically in the last year. Schibsted is changing with it.
We want to create a working environment and culture that supports our staff in their daily lives. For some, that will mean wanting to spend more time at home, possibly located remotely from the cities our offices are within. For others, it will mean a desire to spend more time in the office. The right answer will mostly come from you; only you know best how you can be the most productive and satisfied in your role.
To help make all this possible, Schibsted's Product and Tech teams are moving to a mixture of hybrid, remote and office-based working. We want to get great people, wherever they may be based, to come and work for Schibsted. We hire mostly for people based in or near the main cities where we have offices in the Nordics, so that a hybrid model can work. And for many of our positions in User Foundations we're very open to discussing remote working.
In addition, we have a deeply embedded culture of autonomous product teams than span tech, UX and product. Those teams get to decide most of their own processes, tools and priorities, helping everyone to feel ownership to the user and business problems we're learning how to solve.
Potential office locations (in alphabetical order!) include Bergen, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Krakow, Oslo, Stavanger and Stockholm.
Working at Schibsted means having your feet on the street and your eyes and ears open. As curious entrepreneurs and innovators, we thrive on a deep understanding of local behaviours and the future needs of our customers.
